Hosts were welcoming, even gave us room than in the bedroom. The building was very very good. It was marvellous close to centre. And it was near several takeaways, restaurants and cafes and meadows.

It was the softest bed I have ever slept on, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The room itself was spacious, clean, and had a lovely fresh smell. I was impressed with the regular cleaning of the bed sheets and rooms after each guest checked out. The staff were helpful and cute, making me feel right at home. The location was very convenient, being just beside the main road and close to public transportation. Having a Sainsbury's next door was also a plus, especially for late-night purchases. Bernard Homestay provided excellent value for money.

Some guests might find it inconvenient that there is no lift and that the building itself is a little old.
